About us.

We will first briefly tell you something about ourselves and especially why we personally find this topic so important, especially for Bosnia and Herzogovina. We, Sharinda and Stefan, have been coming to Bosnia for years. We have both fallen in love with the country and the people. And no, we are not just another few people from the EU who think we’re going to change the country. Stefan himself lost a brother in 1994 and until 2006 he and his family did not know what happend. In 2006 he started searching because he wanted to know the truth as a 100% Dutch boy.

He eventually found the grave of his brother, and just like his brother it was "love at first sight" with Bosnia, since then he has been coming back to Bosnia for years. When Stefan married Sharinda, she of course went to Bosnia with him, and Sharinda also got the same feeling about Bosnia as Stefan and his brother. On the first holiday to Bosnia, Sharinda said Bosnia is so beautiful, but what a waste of all that plastic everywhere. Sharinda has been working on this for years with the thoughts that we need to do something with this.

Stefan also found it so sad to see and often had the thoughts: it is so beautiful here, something needs to be done about this and something can be done about this in a relatively "simple" way. We owe this to our children and future generations. And what is perhaps our greatest motivation, is something we can tackle together, regardless of our background. like our slogans "waste has no borders" you could also say "waste has no background"
